This dress is BRAND NEW! I purchased it at the end of October 2016 and it arrived at the end of November 2016. When I purchased the dress, I purchased a garment bag for it, and the dress has been in the garment bag in my closet since I picked it up. It is in perfect condition and has never been worn or altered.
The reason that I am looking to sell the dress is that I was able to restore the vintage wedding dress that my aunt and mother both wore when they got married. I had taken this dress to a seamstress who said it could not be modified to fit me. Since I did not want to risk having no dress for my wedding, I went to David's Bridal to see what they had to offer and found this dress! However, I later found a woman who specializes in upcycling dresses and she said it would be no problem to upcycle my aunt's/mom's old dress!
The David's Bridal dress is a great deal and looks very elegant. I do not think the promotional pictures do it justice because it looks much more beautiful on. It is a satin, trumpet dress with a beautiful train. Here is a link to the dress if you want to see the pictures with the model wearing the dress:
The dress is a size 4 and fits somewhere between a street size 2 and 4, but it might be better suited to a size 2 with some room for alterations to size it down.
I purchased the dress for $299.99, plus 7% sales tax, for a total price of $320.98.
Please note that the pictures of me in the dress include a bridal sash that is not part of the dress! This bridal sash in the pictures does not come with the dress. I tried it on in the store over top of the belt that is built into the dress. If you are interested in purchasing a bridal sash from me, I have an unused rhinestone and fake pearl bridal sash that has also never been used or worn. I purchased it to wear with this dress. Please let me know if you would be interested in the bridal sash, and I will send pictures!
